Natural Demantoid Garnet 6.25mm diameter 0.93ct, 9ct yellow gold⁣⁣

One of the rarest garnet varieties, the demantoid can have a glowing green colour that rivals emeralds and a fire/brilliance that exceeds diamonds due to its high refractive index and high dispersion. The name ‘Demantoid’ is derived from the French word ‘diamant’ (meaning diamond) and is highly prized by both gem collectors and jewellery enthusiasts.

The term ‘Trilliant’ combines the words ‘Triangle’ and ‘Brilliant’ to form a memorable name used by gemstone dealers - triangle refers to the shape, brilliant refers to the angular faceting which gives the gemstone its brightness.⁣⁣Known as the 'gentleman's ring', the signet ring is traditionally seen as a symbol of wealth & status - my interpretation of the signet ring where the shape follows the sweeping curves and points of the 'trilliant' shape giving the signet a more modern and contemporary interpretation.⁣⁣
